The Halal World Institute/ICRIC Halal Logo has been recognized by The Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM).

Since 2019, the Islamic Development Center of Malaysia, known as JAKIM, is responsible for issuing halal certificates and monitoring foreign halal logos in Malaysia. The organization issuing the halal certificate and requiring to be recognized by JAKIM must be operating based on the framework and instruction approved by JAKIM

ICRIC/Halal World Institute is the only organization from I.R. Iran that is included in the mentioned list among the other Foreign Halal Certification bodies from other countries.

Based on the accreditation decision granted by JAKIM to ICRIC-Halal World Institute, exportation of Iranian products in the category of Food, Beverages and Raw Material and Consumer Goods from Iran to Malaysia is allowed only for those products which bear ICRIC-Halal World Institute’s halal logo.

JAKIM is an internationally recognized and a pioneer center in the development of halal in the world and its accreditation to a halal certification body reveals the validity of the certification body.
