Scheduled for October 31–November 1, 2026, the summit will focus on economic integration, investment opportunities across member states of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and stronger South–South cooperation.
The event will take place alongside the 42nd Ministerial Session of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC), in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB).
As the flagship trade and investment platform of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD), the B57+ Summit will bring together senior public- and private-sector leaders from OIC member states and partner economies. It will provide a strategic forum for dialogue, investment facilitation and cross-border business cooperation, opening a new chapter in efforts to advance economic growth across the Islamic world and beyond.
Discussions will explore opportunities arising from closer links between capital, markets, institutions and businesses. Key priorities will include mobilising investment, expanding intra-OIC trade, developing infrastructure, advancing sustainable development and supporting private-sector growth. The summit will also highlight ways to strengthen economic ties and unlock a new generation of opportunities across the Islamic world and beyond.
Dr Mohammadreza Karbasi, Director General of the Islamic Chamber Research and Information Center (ICRIC), and Hossein Salimi, a member of ICRIC’s Board of Directors, will accompany Bahraman. Both Bahraman and Salimi are scheduled to speak at the event’s high-level sessions.
On November 1, Bahraman will present the perspectives of Iran’s private sector during a panel entitled “The Great Convergence: Islamic Capital, South–South Markets and Global South Resilience.”
As part of OIC Arbitration Week, a session entitled “From Treaties to Cross-Border Investments: Strengthening Legal and Economic Cooperation and Dispute Resolution among Member States” will be held on October 31, with a representative of the Iran Chamber also scheduled to speak.
