The President of Iran Chamber of Commerce in the 39th BOD Meeting of Islamic Chamber of Commerce AND Development in Amman, Jordan

Samad Hassanzadeh, the president of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA), said on Sunday, following the speech of the president of the Palestinian Chamber of Commerce at the gathering of heads of chambers of commerce of Islamic countries in Amman, wishing peace, security and world peace for all nations, especially for all Islamic countries: Today, we have a great responsibility towards all Islamic countries, especially the oppressed and Islamic country of Palestine.

He considered the passing of decades of political conflicts, war and bloodshed, and the displacement of the Palestinian people a very unfortunate experience for all nations of the world and emphasized: Today, better measures must be taken to end these genocidal processes.

The president of the ICCIAMA considered the support of Islamic councils for the revival of economic structures, the establishment of scientific and social centers, the development of economic centers in the field of small industries, agricultural and food industries, the establishment of regional businesses and new technologies essential for improving the atmosphere and tranquility, peace and welfare of the Palestinian people.

In presenting suggestions and initiatives to improve the economic situation and welfare of the Palestinian people, Samad Hassanzadeh referred to issues such as encouraging and committing to using and purchasing Palestinian products to strengthen the economic foundation by Islamic countries, holding conferences, economic exhibitions for greater communication and familiarization with Palestinian capacities and capabilities, inviting Palestinian economic activists to exhibitions and economic meetings in Islamic countries, sending representatives of chambers of commerce to provide for the development of international economic programs, dedicating a special day called the Day of Support for the Development of Economic Cooperation in the Islamic World with Palestine as the Center, allocating appropriate funds and scholarships for the presence of Palestinian students in the countries of the Islamic world, setting up scientific, cultural and educational centers to educate young generations and create a suitable atmosphere and use global educational standards.

The president of the ICCIMA emphasized: The concern of Islamic countries for human and Islamic responsibility towards Palestine is a divine duty and an effort to prove international consensus and global solidarity and empathy with an oppressed and oppressed nation.

Hassanzadeh stated that the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with Islamic Chamber for Research and Information Center (ICRIC), is ready to provide knowledge-enhancing courses in all fields, and said: “It is proposed to form a council for greater consensus and to create a path to strengthen the foundations of Palestine, and not let support for the Palestinian people remain only in slogans and statements.”

The Board of Directors of the Islamic Chamber consists of the Chambers of Commerce of Azerbaijan, Chad, Djibouti, Guinea, Iran, Ivory Coast, Jordan, Kuwait, Mauritania, Niger, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Palestine, Qatar, Turkey, Sudan, and the Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation as an observer member. According to the statute of the Islamic Chamber, the Board of Directors meetings are held twice a year.

The current meeting of the Islamic Chamber Board of Directors will discuss and exchange views on issues such as the election of the Board of Directors and the Presidency of the Islamic Chamber for the next four years, the Qatar Chamber’s plan regarding the proposed perspective for developing the strategic orientations of the Islamic Chamber, modeled after the European Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and its impact on economic and trade policies in Europe, as well as comparisons between existing international and regional federations of chambers of commerce, the issue of extensive cooperation with Palestine and its economic activists, the proposal to hold a celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the establishment of the Islamic Chamber, and determining the date and venue of the next meeting of the Islamic Chamber.

Mohammad Reza Karbasi, Director General of the Islamic Chamber Research and Information Center (ICRIC), and Sabah Zanganeh, a member of the ICRIC Board of Directors and former Iranian representative to the Organization of the Islamic Conference, accompanied Samad Hassanzadeh, President of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, to this meeting.
